Of Brownouts and Deadlines
I arrived school thinking it would be just like any day. I walked passed through Gox Lobby. Same sights of people playing, studying or simply hanging out with friends. I was 20 mins early so none of my blockmates were there. I decided to take a peek in our classroom to see if there was still classes. I met Ken on the 2nd floor hallway. He told me Derick was already in the classroom playing. He was playing DTXMania while waiting for our class. He finished the song and stopped to have a chat with me. Later, we found ourselves watching some anime. I'm not really fond of animes but I found this one amazing. The graphics was amazing! People started arriving one by one. So did our prof. But she was still busy setting up her laptop so we continued watching while waiting. After a while, Donna arrived announcing that she bought some food from the Central Plaza- fish chips and chocolate crinkles!! After the prof called our attention, we settled in our seats. The lights started to flicker and everything went dark... We waited for a while for the generator. 5 minutes had gone by... still no electricity. We soon decided to take advantage of the situation and started opening the snacks donna bought. It found it exciting eating in the dark. 30 minutes had gone by and still no electricity. Our prof decided to just discuss the lesson without the powerpoint presentation. She used the board instead. It tool her about 20 minutes to finish the lesson then she dismissed us. Our group used the time to discuss about our project. Our working software is due on November 7. So is our project in WEBDEVE. That's when it hit me- NO VACATION!!! Okay, so that was a bit exaggerated. We still have our long weekend. But still... We have to think about lots of school stuff over the vacation. And I still have of gimmiks plan out! hay... Comsci life.
