Some thoughts
About school...
Just to get it off my chest, I want to write about what I feel. I'm not in a very good mood today. Projects keep pouring in and some groupmates just don't care. Sure they help but I have to tell them what to do everytime. I just hope they have the initiative to do contribute something without being told... I just hope they stop making excuses and start moving. As if I don't have other subjects and things to think about.
About the stampede last week...
The Wowowee incident just proves how undisciplined Filipinos are. Poor management and selfish reasons led to the death of 74 people. I wonder why people can't compose themselves. Everytime I ride the MRT/LRT or drive my car, no one ever gives way! They only think of themselves. Just as long as it is convinient, they go ahead and do whatever they please without thinking of its consequences. Just like animals. I even think animals are more disciplined than humans. Birds are able to fly together as a flock. A pride of lion can protect themselves. Why can't we do it? I don't know if it's our culture or what because I've been to other countries and they are not like that. I've been to Switzerland and cars always give way to pedestrians. I don't know who to blame too. Is it the government's fault for failing to educate people or it's just in them? Because even highly educated people like the government officials can even be so undisciplined. I feel so ashamed to be living in this country.
