Impossible

Impossible is a small word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It is an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It is a dare. Impossible is potential. impossible is temporary.

Impossible is Nothing.

Youth Camp + LEAD

I'm suppose to share a lot of things I've learned from the 2 camps I've joined. One was GCF's Youth Camp entitled 007 Agents of Change and the other was the Leadership Enrichment and Development (LEAD) seminar. I've learned a lot out of these camps. So much that I don't know where to start...

These two experiences have been a great blessing to me. I haven't really absorbed everything because its still so fresh and I don't have the time to just sit back and think about everything yet. Both taught me a great deal about life and both are essential in building my future. As Pastor Hebert from GCF said, "everything happens for a reason. you are here for a reason." It's true. As I look back at my life and begin to see the bigger picture, I've learned to let God lead my steps because He always gives the best things to us. If there was one thing that stuck in my mind during the camps, it was that

there is more to life than ourselves. A lot of people commit suicide because they find no meaning and purpose in their life. life is more than eat, sleep and work. Life is a wonderful journey that involves people and experiences. People will not remember us because of how much awards we received. People will remember us because we were there when they needed an ear to listen to, we were there to help them, we were there to comfort them, we were there to make them smile, and we were there when they needed us most. You see, we don't remember who received the Nobel prize, we don't remember who won the Olympics, we don't remember who the miss universe was a year ago. We remember the people who become involved in our lives. As Mr. Illac Diaz said, "life becomes worthy when we spend it for others". Life becomes worthy when we know that we made someone's life easier. It's said to be the greatest fulfillment we can ever experience.

These lessons came from both camps I've attended. As a Christian and a leader, I feel so blessed to be given this opportunity to create change in the society. Although I still have no idea how, I know God has something great in stored for me. He always does...
